This PAT Testing Calculator will give you a rough cost for you Portable Appliance Testing based on the number of tests you think you may have. This is not a quote but can be a good indicator of the likely cost you may expect to pay. This is becuase you may require more tests than the number of items you count. For example, a kettle is considered two tests because a modern kettle is made up of two separate electrical components, both of which require safety verification: the detachable base (lead) and the kettle jug itself. The same applies to PCs, monitors, printers, etc., where the lead can be separated from the appliance.
